Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR/Finance Manager with a wide range of administrative and operational tasks.
  • Accurately enter data into QuickBooks and other HR or finance systems.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including preparing documentation and updating records.
  • Administer employee benefits, manage enrollments, and coordinate benefit communications.
  • Maintain personnel files, ensuring accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
  • Manage employee time records, monitor time off requests, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and monitor our recruiting software by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Provide administrative support to executive staff, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
  • Coordinate meetings and support cross-functional communication between management, developers, QA engineers, and testers.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through on deadlines, while helping others stay accountable to policies and culture.
  • Handle general office coordination and assist with process improvements as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with standard office software (Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Experience with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet).
  • Strong organizational and scheduling abilities, particularly in coordinating multiple participants.
  • Accurate data entry and basic typing proficiency.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting applications is a plus.
  • Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.

Salary Range: $17-$20 / hour, depending on experience

All applicants are subject to a background check. Background checks will include, at a minimum, SSN verification, county criminal, federal criminal, sex offender registry, and government watch list. The background check must be completed before employment begins, except when employment begins prior to the completion of the background check as a conditional offer. Once the background check is complete hiring authority and human resources will inform the conditional employee of hire based on the outcome of the background check.
